“What’ve we got?”

“Tigers. Snakes. Alligators. Tears in the skin of the universe.” Susan shrugged. “I think I saw a kraken in the sink, too.”

Find a missing book. That was the job the woman in the Doc Martens gave us.

Easy money, right?

Only now it seems she’s actually an ancient, powerful sorcerer, and the book is a Book of Power that doesn’t want to be found.

It wants to tear reality apart at the seams, and it’ll use anyone it can to do it.

So now we’ve got one spectacularly displeased sorcerer, a hungry, still-missing book, a dentist with bad hygiene, and a neighbourhood having some reality issues to deal with.

Plus about a day before the book turns our world – and us – inside out.

We’ve totally got this.

I hope.

This is the first book in the Gobbelino London, PI urban fantasy series, centred around the adventures of a mercenary feline PI and his human sidekick. It contains snarky cats and other gods, many bad jokes and terrible puns, plus a large serving of mythological and real creatures behaving badly. It will appeal to anyone who likes their fantasy funny, modern, and filled with friendship rather than romance – and also to those who suspect their cat may be living a great and secret life when they’re not looking.

A Scourge of Pleasantries contains some violence, particularly toward furniture, but none of it is graphic. It contains no sex and only mild language. It does, however, contain blasphemy.

The final book in the Gobbelino London, PI series will be out 28th July 2023.

High mages lied: Veranesh, the demon who destroyed the continent is still alive. And it’s up to their former student to expose the truth—even if it means another Cataclysm.

When Kamira, a once high mage student turned arcanist, discovers an imprisoned demon in underground ruins, she is forced into a pact that grants her powerful magic, but also ties her to the very demon that once devastated the continent… and Veranesh wants his freedom.

With one friend by her side, Veelk, a mage killer bound on protecting her, Kamira will have to outwit the archmages, other demons, and possibly her own demonic benefactor to survive. Her chances are slim, but with Veelk’s ever-present sarcastic repartee, Kamira might just pull through.

Plots and schemes, power and means—sometimes the price for victory is choosing which friend will die, but when you only have one friend, the choice is… easy?

*Fully updated author edition: bursting with extra Heart, Snark, and Ass-kicking.*Shamus “Shame” Flynn is a Death magic user with a smart mouth and a bad attitude. His job riding a desk while keeping an eye on the city’s humdrum magic users isn’t making his mood any better, either.

Sure, the most dangerous magic was locked away for good three years ago, but that doesn’t mean people have stopped trying to access the old, deadly powers.

Shame isn’t trying to access the deadly powers, because he already found a loophole. He can break magic and make it just as powerful as it used to be–as long as he gets the cooperation of goody-good Life magic user, Terric Conely.

Terric Conley has devoted his life to enforcing magical laws, and he’s not about to change now. Besides, breaking magic will only lead to disaster, and he refuses to be a part of Shame’s death wish.

But when dark government forces and an assassin bent on revenge align to kill the people Shame and Terric care about, there is only one choice left. Break magic, pay the price, and hunt the killers all the way to hell and back again.

A fae girl on the run. A cruel winter soldier who left her for dead. And a mysterious castle that may ruin them both.

Eighteen-year-old Kolfinna is a fae, a near extinct race of “heartless” monsters. The Hunters, the military, and the Royal Guard all want her dead for the murder she committed last year.

When Kolfinna is finally caught by the Royal Guard, they offer her a choice other than death: help them search for magical artifacts in an ancient fae ruin and they’ll erase her crimes. The catch? No one has made it out of the ruins alive. The other catch? The wicked Blár Vilulf will be there. The same powerful ice soldier who maimed her and left her for dead last year.

But evil monsters, strange writings, and ancient magic lurk within the crumbling walls of the castle. Kolfinna might be the key to surviving in the ruins, but she’ll have to cooperate with Blár and learn about her own dormant abilities if she wants to save them all.

The Ruins of the Heartless Fae is the first installment in the Heartless and the Wicked series and is perfect for fans of Throne of Glass, Red Queen, and The Cruel Prince. This epic fantasy features fast paced action, elemental magic, and a very slow burn romance. Perfect for fans of Elise Kova, Sarah J. Maas, and Holly Black.
